Another major outage has occurred.
Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Facebook Messenger are down at the same time all over the world. We discovered issues with each of these apps, as well as the desktop services for each of Facebook’s platforms. According to DownDetector, each of these services is currently struggling in a variety of territories. There is currently no way to avoid the problems, so you will have to wait until they are resolved. Facebook Messenger down
Some users have also reported problems with the company’s virtual reality gaming service, Oculus. We have yet to learn the cause of the outage, but we will post an update here as soon as we learn more. Andy Stone, Facebook’s communications executive, has shared an update stating that the company is aware of the issues and is working on a solution. Facebook Messenger down

Although Facebook’s official Twitter account has yet to acknowledge the issue, we have seen an official statement on the WhatsApp Twitter account.
We’re aware that some people are experiencing issues with WhatsApp at the moment. We’re working to get things back to normal and will send an update here as soon as possible.
Thanks for your patience!

In March and April 2021, each of these services was unavailable for more than half an hour. It could be a similar problem because it affects the same set of Facebook-owned apps and services. Both outages were caused by a bug in the Domain Name System (DNS) of these services. We can’t rule out the possibility of a similar bug affecting other services as well.
