It’s been a busy time with HTC in addition to the virtual reality (VR) and the like, but new teaser photos suggest the Taiwanese company has a second product in the pipeline for 2021.

In advance of HTC’s mysterious “Go with the Flow event on October 14th, HTC tweeted the date, as well as a hyperlink to Vive’s website and a photo of a mysterious canister positioned on top of the laptop.

The company continued with a series of tweets that suggest a wellness-oriented VR product. The latest trademark filings suggest could be dubbed the Vive Flow We believe that, if this is an actual headset, it will be a competitor to the handheld Oculus Go.

HTC may be working on a cheaper, wireless VR headset for casual consumers. The company’s most recent mixed reality headset, the HTC Vive Focus 3, catered to a niche market. If these teaser images are any indication, the Vive Flow could be exactly that. Interestingly, Vive China President Alvin Wang Graylin teased that the event would deliver “big news in a small package,” accompanying his tweet with an image of key art that appears to show two lens-like shapes. You can see it in the video below.
